Any frequent or infrequent United flier may question, "What are the best united airlines credit cards?" United's loyalty program is still one of the best in the United States for international travel. United is a member of the Star Alliance, which includes 25 other airlines, so you can use your MileagePlus points to get just about anywhere in the world.
In addition to the four United credit cards already mentioned, three Chase cards generate points that may be transferred to United. We've compiled a list of the top best credit cards for delta and united airlines so you can compare and contrast features to discover the one that works best for you.
The United Explorer Card is a good option if you want a United credit card with a low annual fee and many perks.
Even if you only fly United once in a while, you can still save money by taking advantage of the airline's many money-saving perks, such as priority boarding, two complimentary day passes to the United Club per year, cash back on in-flight United purchases, and a free one-year membership to DashPass.
The $95 annual charge on this card may be offset by the value you receive from the card's features. You may earn two miles for every dollar spent on United purchases, meals, and hotel stays when you use the United Explorer Card.
There is a statement credit of up to $100 for the cost of applying for Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS with this card. Although this perk is showing up on more and best credit cards for united airlines these days, it is still more popular on premium cards with high annual fees than on those with lower rates.
The United Quest Card is a new credit card choice with a generous sign-up bonus released a few years ago. As of this writing, new cardholders may obtain 80,000 extra miles after spending $5,000 in the first three months after account setup.
The Points Guy estimates a value of 1.21 cents per United mile, making 80,000 miles worth $968 in United airfare. The United Quest Card's annual charge of $250 is in the middle of the United Explorer Card's and United Club Infinite Card's annual fees. However, other advantages might compensate for the cost.
The United Club Infinite Card improves your travel experience if you fly United frequently. The card's complimentary United Club lounge membership is a major perk. Lounge access provides frequent fliers with a comfortable spot to rest, eat, and drink before boarding their aircraft.
New United Club Infinite Cardholders can earn 100,000 extra miles after spending $5,000 in the first three months to sweeten the deal. The Points Guy estimates that a hundred thousand miles may be redeemed for up to two thousand and ten dollars in travel expenses.
The United Business Card is a perk you should take advantage of if you own a business. In the past, we've seen better deals, but if you spend $5,000 in the first three months, you'll get 75,000 additional miles.
A valuation of 1.21 cents per mile by The Points Guy indicates that your 75,000 miles are worth more than $900 in travel expenses. United purchases, local transit and commuting dining out, fueling up, and shopping for office supplies earn 2 miles for every dollar spent. On top of that, for any additional purchases, you'll get one mile for every dollar spent.
The United Business Card offers perks similar to those of the United Explorer Card, including free checked bags for you and a companion on the same reservation, priority boarding, two complimentary visits to the United Club per year, 25% cash back on United purchases made in flight, and a free year of DashPass.
Most of the cards we recommend are for individual use, but some of the greatest ones are corporate credit cards. Refrain from dismissing these cards too quickly because you don't own a multi-million dollar company or work for a major firm.
Maybe you already have a business and don't even know it. You may already be a business owner if you run an internet store, provide ridesharing services, maintain a blog, or run a side company.
If so, you can legally apply for a business credit card using your Social Security number rather than the company's Employer Identification Number. Also, don't be discouraged if your firm is just getting off the ground; simply be truthful if applying for a credit card.
